He was born in France in 1958 and moved to San Sebastián in 1990.

He studied music at the University of Pau (France) with Guy Maneveau and in the National Conservatory of Toulouse where, in 1987, he was the winner of the First Award in Composition and in Acousmatic Music.

He is a versatile composer who works in different fields such as movie industry, theater, dance, concerts, etc.

Scores: He has worked for more than 50 full-length movies, documentaries and shorts with renowned directors such as: Victor Erice ("El sol del membrillo"), Daniel Sánchez Arévalo ("Azul oscuro casi negro", "Gordos"), Iciar Bollaín ("Flores de otro mundo"), Montxo Armendáriz ("Silencio roto"), Salvador García ("Mensaka", "El otro barrio", "Las voces de la noche", "Castillos de Cartón"), Ramón Salazar ("Piedras", "20 centímetros") , Gracia Querejeta ("Siete mesas de billar francés"), Eduardo Chapero-Jackson ("A contraluz", "Verbo"), Pavel Giroud ("Omerta"), Jon Garraño and José Mari Goenaga ("Lucio", "80 Egunean", "Cristóbal Molón"), Safy Nebbou ("Le cou de la girafe"), Ana Díez ("Todo está oscuro", "Ander y Yul"), Julio Medem ("La pelota Vasca").

His music for movies have won several prizes, including a Palma de Oro for "El otro barrio" at the Buenos Aires Film Festival, the Best European Score for "Azul oscuro casi negro", from the Federación Europea de Asociaciones de Compositores de Cine, and the Silver Biznaga at the Málaga Spanish Film Festival for "20 centímetros".
