LEAL THEATRE
Teatro Leal (Leal Theater) is one of the most emblematic buildings in beautiful city of La Laguna, Unesco World Heritage Center, promoted by Antonio Leal y designed by architect Antonio Pintor. It soon became a cultural epicenter in the Canary Islands, opening its doors to national and international companies.

Cabildo de Tenerife, together with the Canary Island Government, have supported the creation of this new space conceived to host creative initiatives, different forms of art and is opened to today’s world cultural proposals.

MULTICINES RENOIR-PRICE, FILMOTECA CANARIA
Filmoteca Canaria was created by Consejería de Cultura y Deportes del Gobierno de Canarias
(Culture and Sports Council) on November 3rd 1984, after the approval of a departmental order that transfers all areas of competence concerning cultural activities, promoting film creation and cultural infrastructures, to this community. In January 1992, Filmoteca Canaria becomes part of the Sociedad Publica de la Consejería de Educación, Cultura y Deportes (Education, Culture and Sports Council), called SOCAEM, and in January 2005 it is named Canarias Cultura en Red. This same year Filmoteca Canaria is assigned to Plan Canario Audiovisual.
Filmoteca Canaria, directed by María Calimano, has two main departments:
- -Files and restoration area, based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
- -Media and communication area, based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
